Every January one of the biggest film festivals in North America comes to the desert. Attracting industry folk, Hollywood glitterati, and serious film buffs from around the world, the Palm Springs International Film Festival brings more than just movies to town. Many events are open to the public, and it’s a great time to visit! This year’s festival runs January 2-13.
